Affiliate disclosure

⚠ Document in preparation
The site operator has not yet published all required identifying information. Some fields appear as placeholders until configuration is completed in the admin panel.
Commercial transparency
[Configurar en admin] openly declares that some of the site's links point to partner stores through affiliate programs. When this is the case, the links are visibly marked as such and accompanied by the corresponding disclosure. This policy responds to Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices, the FTC guidelines for digital influencers and the terms of the affiliate programs themselves.
What is an affiliate link
An affiliate link is a special link that identifies the site as the referrer of the purchase before the destination store. If you decide to buy through it, the store shares a small commission on the sale with us. This never makes the price more expensive for you:
- The operator receives a commission only when the purchase is completed, calculated as a percentage of the final price.
- You pay exactly the same price you would pay reaching the store through any other route.
- All affiliate links appear marked as such in their editorial context (for example, via a visible label next to the resource).
Affiliate networks used
The site may participate in the following programs, depending on availability by country and topic:
- Amazon Associates — Amazon affiliate program. As an Amazon Associates participant, we earn from qualifying purchases.
- Etsy Affiliate — Etsy affiliate program for handcrafted pieces, illustrations and themed materials.
- Audible / Bookshop — Audible and Bookshop.org for books and audiobooks related to mythology, folklore and demonology.
The list may be expanded or reduced based on current agreements. The version active at any given time is the one published on this page.
Editorial independence
Affiliate links never influence the editorial content of the site. We apply the following criteria:
- We only link to products directly relevant to the cultural or documentary content of the page on which they appear.
- We prioritize academic publishers, recognized authors in comparative folklore and verified artisans.
- We do not accept payments in exchange for favorable reviews or inclusion in curated taxonomies.
- We keep affiliate links at a low density, integrated with bibliographic and non-commercial criteria.
Data shared with affiliate networks
When you click on an affiliate link, the destination store may receive standard information (referer, affiliate identifier, click date and time) under its own privacy policy. does not receive personal data about individual purchases, but aggregate commission reports.
